This book is the "first" piece of queer theory, translated for the first time in English from French and written in '72. Hocquenghem not only attacks the gay assimilationists' agenda which serves the state's control, but also calls for the annihilation of homosexuality as it exists today, colonized by heterosexual imperialism.
